what you need to start your own nail kit

If you are serious about starting your own nail kit, here is a list of things that I recommend you purchase, a lot of these things can be found quite affordably on eBay, Amazon and even aliexpress so do your research before committing to a purchase. Some of these items are not necessities but are quite nice to have in your kit anyway! I have not included acrylic items in this list as I am more of a gel user and feel I couldn't comment on what would be needed for Acrylics.

CORE ITEMS

Hand Sanitizer to keep yours and your clients hands clean and sterile.

Exfoliant to scrub away dry dead skin on the hands.

Cuticle Cream to help remove cuticle.

Cuticle Pusher (or orange stick) to remove cuticle.

Cuticle Oil to hydrate skin and nail.

Nail Files to shape natural and enhanced nails (gel or acrylic)

Pure Acetone to soak off any enhancements or regular polish.

Nail Clippers to cut and shape natural or enhanced nails.

Base Coat to protect the natural nail.

Top Coat to seal in nail designs.

GEL ITEMS

Top and Base Coats to bond to nail and seal in designs. 

Dehydrator to give gel something to cling to.

Primer to prime nail for gel and prevent lifting.

Gel Colours; there are so many to choose from!

Builder Gel to create strength to natural nails and encapsulate decorations.

Structure Gel to create extensions.

Cleanser to remove sticky layer.

UV / LED Lamp it depends on what products you purchase.
Nail Forms to help sculpt a nail.

NAIL ART

Dotting Tools to create all kinds of looks.

Precision Brushes to create lines and patterns.

Nail Vinyls to easily add designs.

Glitters for encapsulation or sprinkling on.

Rhinestones to add extra sparkle to designs.

Mylar this is great for extra texture.

Stampers and Stamping Plates for those of us who can't freehand!
Acrylic Paint to create designs.
Felt Tips to create watercolour designs (sharpies work great!)
